    3 Ways To Feel, Look & Perform Better


    Falling off the wagon is an all too common experience for many. Here’s what to do in 3 steps:

    1. Get back to your usual plan as soon as possible.

    A poor decision at lunch doesn’t need to ruin the entire day.

    A poor decision on Friday night doesn’t need to ruin a weekend.

    A poor decision midweek doesn’t need to ruin the entire week until the following Monday.

    You are ALWAYS one meal away from getting back on track.

    2. DON’T try to ‘balance the books’.

    It may sound tempting to eat less or do more exercise over the coming days.

    This may make you feel good in the short term.

    Over the long term, it creates a poor relationship with food and exercise.

    Revert to step 1 and move onto the most important step..

    3. Reflect on WHY you fell off the wagon.

    Understanding why it happened in the first place allows you to take a better approach for next time.

    Think about the following questions to help you:
    • What environment was I in?
    • Who was I with?
    • How was I feeling emotionally at the time?
    • Was I tired, bored, lonely or stressed?
    • Did I skip any meals that day?

    Your answers will give you the insights on what you need to work on.

    If you’re not addressing this step, you’ll continue spinning your wheels!
