1. The precision dip trap…
- You’re going out and totally under estimating the number of calories you’re eating.
- You think you know what 15g of peanut butter is… (get ready to be humbled!)
- You think swapping a protein shake and an apple, for an evening meal of risotto and veggies, is an identical swap when eating out.
- You’ve started slacking on your cardio, or falling short on your steps (but think it’s fine).
2. When you think you’re hungry, ask yourself if you need caloric or spiritual energy…
I’ve thought about this question a lot recently.
A great way to get to know yourself better is to sit with your perceived hunger and find out what bubbles up!
When you’re constantly having to think about your next meal, the macros etc… it can be exhausting.
It can also lead to poorer decisions being made when you don’t have much energy to come up with a creative new recipe.
When you’re in a routine with similar meals, you realise how much headspace you have when you’re not thinking about what to eat when.
