    On Sunday we hosted an awesome workshop for our RNT members. The energy was electric.

    About 30 of us got together in the City of London to train hard, build connections and have fun! 

    One RNTer even flew in from Miami! What’s cool is all the proceeds went to a social enterprise close to my heart, icanyoucantoo, raising an incredible £3000 (!) for underprivileged youth in London.
    After 14 recent checkpoints nailed in June, I’m excited to see what July brings.

    In fact, last night I shared the keys behind the holistic approach we use to drive jaw-dropping weight loss results despite a busy lifestyle.

    For the 50+ who attended live, they’re now equipped with the tools to lose 10-30lbs in the next 90 days. IF of course, they execute to perfection, especially when life gets in the way.

    3 Ways To Look, Feel & Perform Your Best


    1. Maintaining your gains when you’re travelling… 

    With summer holidays coming up, a big question we’re getting asked is: 

    “Can I still do this whilst travelling?”

    Our answer is a resounding YES!

    The first thing is to acknowledge the behaviour, mindset and identity shift required and asking:

    “What would the person who I want to become do in this situation?”

    When you ask this, you shift from associating travelling with gluttony (and losing all your hard earned gains) to a cultural and recharging experience!

    For specific step-by-step strategies to use at airports, planes, restaurants, resorts and best of all, specific workouts to try with no equipment… 


    2. If after 12 months you’re lifting the same weights as now, it’s likely you’ll look exactly the same.

    If you’ve got ambitions to tone up and build your physique, you need to track your workouts.

    Most of all, you need to ensure that over time, you’re applying progressive overload.

    So if you’ve not got a log book, either in a notepad or as an app, start with your next workout!

    3. Always plan for how you’ll maintain your weight after you’ve lost it

    The sexy bit is losing weight. The hard bit is knowing what to do after, because your mind and body are literally fighting for you to gain it all back.

    This diagram below helps show what happens to our body’s fat cells:
    You’ll see the body doesn’t lose fat cells when we lose weight, they only shrink. And the urge for them to spring back to size is highest straight after a diet.

    What’s worse is if you mess up and gain back too quickly, you’ll create even more fat cells.

    We place upmost importance on this period for our members, with a few key principles:
    • Gradually increase calories and reduce expenditure.
    • Maintain your accountability systems (weigh-ins, pictures, coaching, etc).
    • Change your goal setting from physique oriented to performance based.
    • When you’re eating out, focus on the company, not the food.
    • If you mess up, don’t punish yourself. Own it and move on immediately.
