I’m no relationship expert, but I can tell you one thing that continues to be a game changer for improving ours.

It’s been a ritual we’ve followed every Saturday since November 2019.

I get asked all the time, “what’s that Weekly Check In you do with your wife again?”, so I wanted to share it here so you can try it this week.

We use a dedicated shared journal, and run through the following structure:

    1. Appreciations of one another (minimum of 3)
    2. Together to-do’s for the week
    3. Plans for good times this week (not a month or year later!)
    4. Opportunities to improve
    5. Sia’s milestones (this is a new section for us!)
    6. Wins for the week

It’s the perfect balance of gratitude and genuine development, where you can identify the wins and small things.

The real value in this though lies in #4… because it’s a proactive and safe forum to air any concerns, issues or feedback, so nothing lingers or gets swept under the carpet.

I speak to too many people who are too scared to bring up issues with their partners, or don’t know how to do it without it being awkward or triggering a fight.

This is the best way we’ve found.

Letting things linger is when issues like alcohol, food, excessive social media, gambling, wandering eyes, or whatever other crutch you can use to squash the problem, rears its ugly head!

Save this email and share it with your partner if you’re going to try it this week!

If you’ve tried it before, reply back and let me know your experiences.

Until then, let’s dive into this week’s Transformation Thursday…
Are you tired of getting nowhere with your fitness journey?

    This RNTer felt the same.

For years she had tried every plan she came across hoping to get some real results.

    But nothing changed.

She still didn’t like the way her clothes fit.

    Her weight was stagnant.

Her body composition stayed the same.

Even though she was working so hard she had nothing to show for it.

All of this changed after she joined RNT. 💥
With us, she found what she always wanted:
    1. A strategy that worked around her busy schedule
    2. A customised meal plan to fit her unique needs
    3. A training plan that she could fit into her busy schedule
She’s even mastered the hardest part of building a lifestyle solution:

The art of socialising and enjoying meals out without giving up on her fitness goals.

Today, she’s become more confident, full of life, and energised.  🌟

When it comes to serious training, injuries can unfortunately become a common occurrence.

The common notion is that any injury means a complete stop in training until fully recovered.

Fortunately, this drastic course of action is often unnecessary, unless the injury is severe.

Want to learn more about the strategies and techniques for training around injuries?

At the start of this year in Dubai I was invited by RNT member James Sahota onto his J2 Hub Podcast.

We covered a bunch of topics around lifestyle design, why I started RNT, what the “physical is the vehicle” actually means, and easy health hacks for busy high achievers.

I really enjoyed this conversation, so wanted to share it with you guys here too in case there’s a few nuggets to help:
