Mansee’s transformation went beyond the physical! After finishing her medical training, she realised that she’d put her own health on the back burner. But all of that changed after trying on her old wardrobe…
Starting weight: 84 kg
Checkpoint weight: 62 kg
The Wake-Up Call
After finishing her medical training, Mansee was ready to take her career by storm.
But before her big move, she was looking to downsize her wardrobe to commemorate the next chapter of her career.
She was not happy when she found her clothes felt a lot tighter than they used to be.
“After finishing my medical training I was getting ready to make a big move to start the next chapter in my professional and personal life.
“To my shock and embarrassment, I realized most of my jeans, tops and dresses were more snug than I preferred.
“Looking at my body-length mirror was something I had begun to dread.”
Mansee didn’t like her size which made her feel insecure in her skin.
“Looking at the weight gain pre and post-medical training pictures made me feel small, insignificant and ashamed.
“I knew I had to make fundamental changes to my lifestyle at this point.”
Realising Her Mistakes
She didn’t know how to organise nutrition or structure her workouts.
As a busy student, convenience food and stress-eating were all too common for Mansee.
“There would be days when I would do cardio for 2 hours and then nothing for another week.
“Stress eating desserts, doubling down on frozen meals or even ordering Uber Eats at the tip of my fingerprints became my weaknesses and propagated unhealthy weight gain.”
So Mansee knew that she needed to change her habits and stumbled across RNT…
Making Things Happen
For Mansee to lose weight, she needed to eat more than she was used to.
“The hardest part for me was to nail down the nutrition component. Initially, the volume of the food was very hard to stomach and I felt full all the time.
“As I became more comfortable with my weight training sessions, I was better able to adapt to my suggested macros and pretty soon I looked forward to eating my meals and knowing I was maintaining consistency.
“I didn’t need variety in my food and meal prepping was almost therapeutic for me.”
And she loved the workouts on her programme.
“For the workouts, I was seamlessly and beautifully coached by Chloe.
“I did primarily free weights at home which goes to show how much you can achieve with limited equipment as long you are consistent!”
So far, Mansee has lost 18 kilos!
But her weight loss was just the tip of the iceberg of Mansee’s success.
Her change in mindset throughout her RNT journey became the basis for all other decisions in her life.
“I started RNT in September 2023. Initially, it was the vessel for me to look and feel my best for my wedding in March 2024.
“However, I soon realized that the discipline, knowledge of balancing nutrition, and development of a growth mindset would all be channelled towards me becoming a better wife, daughter, sister and doctor.”
“When I came across RNT, I was resolute in changing my ways and felt that I was the most determined I could ever be!”
