Alka has demonstrated the power of the RNT Method by using it to lose almost half of her body weight in just two years. Focusing on herself has meant that she can be there for her family in the long term.

The Start
Full-time corporate mum Alka had a jam-packed schedule.
She was raising her son, supporting two sets of elderly parents and was also a carer for her disabled sister.
Alka didn’t think that she had any time, or energy to put into herself.
After having her son, she suffered from further health issues, including high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
What’s more, Alka developed an underactive thyroid which was undiagnosed for a long time and caused her a lot of unwanted weight gain.
The change she saw in her body also had a knock-on effect on her mental well-being.
Her self-worth and confidence plummeted, affecting social interactions in all areas of her life.
The Trigger Point
Flying for the first time after lockdown became Alka’s wake-up call.
She had to ask the flight attendant for an extension belt which made her realise she needed to change.
“It made me feel very ashamed that it had gotten to that stage… My health anxiety took a turn and I was frightened of the possibility of a shorter life span if I didn’t do something about it.”
Alka realised that if she didn’t take control of her health, her situation was bound to get worse and worse.
She wanted better for her family and to be a good example for her son.
“Having a family I love so much, I wanted to grow old with my husband, and see my son grow… to celebrate all his milestones with him.”
This was when she discovered RNT.
Alka was intrigued by the long-term ethos and loved that it was personalised to individual needs.

She was ready to join the program.
Taking on the Journey
The RNT Method made the process manageable for her busy work and parenting schedule.
Alka felt like the hard work of figuring out the formula had been done for her, and she could focus solely on putting her best foot forward.
“The process has been a journey of growth and finding oneself. I feel at times I have cheated on the physical transformation, as all I have done is executed the well-formulated RNT equation.”
One of Alka’s very first obstacles when joining RNT was realising what healthy eating really was.
She learned about the importance of macro and micronutrients while sticking to a meal plan that would give her long-term weight loss results.
“I had to focus on reevaluating and building a new narrative about the role of food and exercise in my life.”
Alka continued to push through to see her journey through to the checkpoint.
After two years on the RNT program, Alka has lost almost half of her original body weight, weighing in at 67 kg from 127 kg.
After being with RNT all this time, Alka realised that she’d always wanted to live a holistic healthy life but never knew quite how to do it.
“One of my core values has always been sustainable healthy living, but I was unable to find a solution for this, and my actions never aligned… until I started RNT.
“Reaching alignment has enabled me to feel stronger both physically, mentally and emotionally so I can grow in confidence in all areas of my life.”
