In this episode of RNT Fitness Radio, we speak with Shruti Sangani, an RNTer who shares a truly remarkable story to overcome significant challenges in her life. During the conversation, Shruti shares how her journey with RNT began after being abandoned and losing her sense of identity.
And what’s different about her story is how she started RNT underweight, and in need of gaining weight. At 39kg 5 foot 6, her goals were different to the norm. And in this episode, she reflects on how her strength and resilience during this time of being underweight prevented her from falling into depression, and at one point, even death.
Shruti talks about how her “why” changed to always being strong for her nephews, and how this became a significant driving factor for her.
Overall, Shruti’s story is one of hope, perseverance, and the power of the human spirit.

I’m very excited and proud to announce we’ve developed a brand new partnership with one of the world’s leading premium supplement brands, Optimum Nutrition, where they’ll be helping support our RNT members, and listeners of this podcast, on their journey of health, fitness and total transformation. With the world’s #1 best-selling protein powder in their range, and a growing plant-based range, you can now use the code RNT20 to get 20% off in their US and UK stores. My personal favourite are their plant-based protein bars. I’ve literally done a 180 on protein bars since discovering these, and these were a game changer during my recent long stints in Bali and the US!
