    Yesterday I was at RNTer Raj’s shoot when I had a flashback to the first ever client I helped to one.

    It was early-mid 2014, and I remember one moment that stuck: when the client first saw their photo on the back of the camera.

    Over the past 11 years, I’ve seen that moment unravel 100s of times.

    It’s priceless - months of hard work coming together in one beautiful shot.

    The idea of a photoshoot is strange to many. But it’s one of the most life-changing experiences you can have.

    I’ve never met a client who regretted it. Most say it’s one of the best days of their life.

    Especially because we don’t help genetic freaks or bodybuilders.

    We help people who are high performers in their careers, have built families, but somewhere along the journey, their body and health slipped.

    The photoshoot is the perfect moment to mark your transformation checkpoint, before you move onto the next phase.

    It tells a story of how you decided to take back control and get sh*t done no matter how busy the other parts of life get.

    In the future, it reminds you of your edge, what you’re capable of, and what you know you can do in another domain of your life - not just career and family.

    People often say “how you do one thing is how you do everything”. But it’s not always the case when it comes to career and fitness.

    I’ve met killers in business who are all over the place with their health. That’s why I love what we do - because we’re able to put together the missing piece of the puzzle.

    When you can do something like a photoshoot, you can know you can achieve excellence in anything. The proof just stacks up even higher.

    Just like Raj experienced yesterday, 7 years into his RNT Transformation Journey, and his second shoot…
    With that, I’m now off to the studios to record a podcast - I’m being put “under the spotlight” as we approach 8 years in business.

    3 Ways To Feel, Look & Perform Better 


    1. Got Meals Out This Week Coming?

    When dining out or grabbing meals on the go, focus your plate on protein and fibre. 

    A good rule of thumb is ½ plate veggies, ⅓ protein source and if in the fat loss phase, everything else on the side.

    If muscle building or maintenance, then it could be a serving of carbs.

    This is perfect if you’ve got a ton of socials, client dinners, and/or networking events. With the days getting longer (in the UK at least), it’s definitely picking up!

    2. Stop Messing Up Your Peak Week

    Something a bit different here. But remember how I talked about the power of the photoshoot? Well, a big part of this is the final preparation - beyond just the wax and tan!

    The number one rule of “peak week” is to be in great shape. If that’s ticked, you can work some real magic in the final 7 days! 

    3. My 7 Year Journal Habit

    One habit which has stuck with me since 2018 is journaling. I used to think journaling needed to be a long process, with lots of questions to answer every day. So I never did it. 

    Then before a solo trip to Thailand, I was given an empty journal by Chandni (at the time, my girlfriend). She’d been doing it for years and just told me a simple piece of advice: “Wake up and write what comes to mind”.

    Every day I’d write a few lines documenting my thoughts and feelings. No goals, no questions and no judgements. At first it was a little strange but I soon found it to be a great way to navigate what was going on in my head, and make sense of it.

    Sometimes I’ll flick back over previous entries to see what I was thinking at the time, and you can start spotting trends which may help you now, or… see just far you’ve grown in your thought process.

    If you’ve never tried it, give it a go. Grab a blank sheet of paper and tomorrow - as soon as you wake up, write a few lines. 

    By the way, I was attending my cousin’s wedding at the time but extended it by two weeks to check out Thailand - hence going without Chandni! (She worked corporate back then so had less time off)
