Salva’s sense of well-being had been off kilter for a while, she’d been gradually putting on weight which affected her confidence levels. Apart from that, the extra weight made her feel sluggish and tired but she didn’t do anything to change it until someone passed a comment. That was her trigger to join RNT and make a lasting change.
1. What were the series of moments that led to your “trigger” moment to begin your journey with RNT?
Losing my confidence due to gradual weight gain, a comment from a family member triggered a realisation that it was time to prioritise my well-being and take action.
2. What were your biggest problems before starting RNT?
The absence of a routine had a negative impact on my mental health, prompting me to acknowledge the need for change. To address this, I recognized the importance of establishing a physical and fitness routine alongside my work.
3. What has the process been like, and the biggest challenges and obstacles?
The process was truly unique, and I cherished every moment of the journey. Being accountable each day has taught me valuable lessons beyond what I could have imagined. It’s not just a fitness journey; it’s a lifestyle journey where I’ve learned that making small daily changes can truly make a difference. While occasional challenges arise when life interferes and I can’t fully adhere to the plan, I acknowledge the frustration it brings. However, it tests my patience and reinforces the mindset that it’s a journey rather than a sprint.
4. How has the physical been the vehicle?
It’s been the driving point for my life. Everyday I wake up and automatically I have to move my body. The rush of endorphins I feel when I move sets me up for having a great day. It’s improved my health massively.
5. What almost kept you from joining?
Nothing held me back
