The whole RNT process hasn’t just helped physically. It’s definitely helped more in other aspects. As a dentist, I used to take on a lot of work and now I only do work that I enjoy. I’m not perfect and I’m still trying to work on this and focus on getting better. But I’m not just chasing the money anymore, I do the work I enjoy and I know the money will follow.
My mother (60) has really benefited from my journey, and has been consistently going to the gym, sometimes with me. She is eating better and lost 2.5kg since January and is still focused on improving and being consistent. My dad had a stroke 2 years ago, and has been suffering from depression since. It can be quite hard seeing him like this. He was very physically fit, but did not incorporate the diet and nutrition side well, and hence I really find the RNT journey so useful from that point of learning the right things, rather than what our elders in the Indian community think are the right things to eat.
The increased motivation was knowing that heart disease is common in our family, and hence my brother and I signed up to the RNT journey.
My brother and I did the fat loss phase together, which was great as we supported each other. Generally my friends and family have taken positively from my journey, and making healthier decisions.
I have reduced unnecessary use of my phone, and kept more healthy and productive time with my family, which has been great for us. Thank you RNT!
